Start your tour at 150 WORTH AVENUE (formerly known as The Esplanade) a two-story shopping promenade filled with upscale boutiques. Built in the Mediterranean Revival-style architecture made popular by Addison Mizner in the '20s, it is a perfect setting for boutiques and restaurants.

STARBUCKS (#150) slip into an oasis of calm and contentment at one of the most outstanding coffee shops in America.

Known for over 30 years as the "Prince of Prints', EMILIO PUCCI (#109) introduced his creations of idiosyncratic and kaleidoscopic prints in the 1950's Silk jerseys in the most wonderful colors, beachwear, accessories, men's shirts and ties are all on display--so vibrant, so very Palm Beach.

Relax and indulge at SALON W AND SPA ESSENTIALS (#213), where New York and internationally trained staff members provide clients with an array of soothing treatments, including hair cuts and hair color, facials, massages, waxing, manicures and pedicures. The also do hair extensions.

Anchoring the west end of 150 Worth is the Palm Beach Resort location of SAKS FIFTH AVENUE (#172). Saks Fifth Avenue is proud to have served the Island and surrounding areas for over 80 years and continues the tradition of style with the latest collections of designer, couture, sportswear, jewelry, shoes, men's, handbags and cosmetics.

Take a peek behind Saks on Hammond Avenue and you'll find THE COLONY HOTEL, a European boutique-style hotel famous for its Royal Room Cabaret. Grab a snack at CAFÉ 155 before heading back to fabulous Worth Avenue.

Cross the street and stroll through the inviting archways below a ceiling of Pecky Cypress to Via Parigi (#349). Enter the via under the scrolled iron sign and the trailing bougainvillaea, and be sure to notice the colorful painted tiles and the doors and trimmings of pecky cypress.

STUBBS AND WOOTON has a first-floor location at #4 in Via Parigi. This lovely boutique is known for its fine needlepoint and velvet slippers (for both formal and casual occasions), sandals, heels, handbags and signature accessories.

JOHN H. SUROVEK GALLERY (#8) has specialized in American paintings, drawings, watercolors and prints of the 19th and 20th centuries for over 30 years.

Across the street is VILLARS OPTICIANS (317 Peruvian Ave.). Fine eyewear is the hallmark of Villars Opticians, home to a wide variety of frames by the world’s top designers, including Minima, John Varvatos, Ermenegildo Zegna, Longines, Shiseido and Anglo American Eyewear. Villars also offers a full range of optician services.

On the corner of Peruvian and Hibiscus avenues is Pan’s Garden, a wonderful botanical garden created by the PRESERVATION FOUNDATION OF PALM BEACH.

Cross over Hibiscus and you’ll find the GASIUNASEN GALLERY (415 Hibiscus Ave.), which concentrates on museum-quality art from the mid-20th century to the present, but also ventures into African and ancient Chinese art.

Back on Worth Avenue, TIFFANY & CO. (#259) is the world-renowned jeweler specializing in the finest diamonds, gemstones, timepieces, selected accessories and tabletop products. Tiffany & Co. seeks to enrich the lives of its customers with enduring objects of extraordinary beauty that have been cherished for over 160 years.
 
BULGARI (#251) is the contemporary Italian designer of luxury jewelry, watches, accessories and fragrance. Today, Bulgari stores can be found all over the world, including Rome, New York, Paris, Geneva, Monte Carlo and, of course, Palm Beach.

There are few jewelers in the world whose designs are immediately recognizable. Topping that list is CHOPARD (#247), which was founded in 1860 in Geneva, Switzerland.
